Eduard Pütsep (October 21, 1898 - August 22, 1960)[1] was an Estonian wrestler who won a Gold Medal in the Bantamweight division in the 1924 Summer Olympics in Paris, France after defeating Sweden's Sigfrid Hansson in the Sixth Round.[2]

He was born in Vastseliina, in Võru County, Estonia and competed in the 1920, 1924 and 1928 Summer Olympic Games for his home country. At the 1922 World Greco-Roman Wrestling Championship in Stockholm, Sweden he lost only in the final match to Swedish 1920 Olympics wrestling bronze medalist Fritiof Svensson by points and won the Silver medal.

In 1924, he had a starring role in the Estonian silent film Õnnelik korterikriisi lahendus, directed by Konstantin Märska.

Eduard Pütsep died in Kuusamo, Finland in 1960.
